Famed comic book artist Joe Madureira and Vigil games just released there new game Darksiders to great success. It follows the story of one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. You play as War. You were mistakenly summoned to earth to start the apocalypse and destroy all of human kind. Sound familiar? Your right it doesn't. This is the first time that the Madureira name has been attached to a game. He lead the project as its creative director. Darksiders art style very closely imit... Continue reading ...

Halo Reach is going to be a different game. Its going to be the pinnacle of Bungie trying to take back the first person shooter genre from rivals like Infinity Ward and Valve. Not much is known about the game until the beta comes out this spring. Still that doesn't keep me from comparing screen shots to other Halo games and other first person shooter games that could be an influence on Bungie's new flag ship title.
All my comparisons are going to be pure speculation seeing as how I have not... Continue reading ...

Infinity Ward community manger Robert Bowling has just announced from his Twitter account about the upcoming title update for MW2. Apparently it is going to address the new glitches that were found after the last update. Which includes the public "Private" match glitch and Infinite ammo glitch. Other fixes are to include the PS3 exclusive glitch for prestige hacking and also PC texture problems.
Robert Bowling also mentions that the 1887 akimbo shotguns are going to be "balanced". So fi... Continue reading ...

37th Annual Global Media and Communications
Conference was held in New York City today and EA’s CEO John Riccitiello had
some very interesting things to say about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.He believes that Battlefield Bad Company 2 along with the newly announced modern Medal of Honor will be the foundation of what will bring the FPS crown back to their eager hands.
"I think were at that point. And I think [Bad Company
2] represents our best opportunity of taking the first-person sh... Continue reading ...

BF: Bad Company is aiming to launch a PS3 exclusive beta starting just before its March 4 release date. The game was set for a release of this holiday season, but following the lead of many other games, jumped to quarter 1 2010 to avoid the massive releases of MW2, L4D2, Dragon Age and Assassins Creed.
The game really seems to be coming together nicely. A lot of the complaints are being addressed from the first game. Dice has just started releasing the latest "episodes" of there brand new B... Continue reading ...

Some comparison screen shots have come out showing stills of the game running on both systems. The picture I found that shows the biggest difference is a snow scene that we all first saw at E3. The PS3 version doesn't look near as sharp as the Xbox 360 version. But the scene looks like it could be snowing. Which would mean the Xbox version would be the less accurate version. Guess will find out soon when the game ships.
You can defiantly see a difference between the systems though. It is... Continue reading ...

Day 1
So I picked up Brutal Legend from Block Buster on Rocktober 13th. Day 1. I was pretty impressed that I was able to get it so easily. I hope this doesn't point to slower sales or just lower sales for this delightful game.
So I played for about 3-4 hours last night. For the most, I really enjoyed everything the game had to offer. I love the charm of Eddie Riggs. Jack Black does a great job bringing this character to life. Every line is delivered with such a degree of honesty and a gr... Continue reading ...

The event kicked off yesterday day with some pretty exciting matches. 5th place Carbon took on 10th place The Influence. The series was pretty exciting with the first 2 matches just being run by Carbon. Match 3 though The Influence woke up and they actually took the lead on this Oddball Heretic game. With just a few seconds left on the clock, newest member Naded got the exact amount of time needed to tie the game at 204 seconds. This is the 2nd Oddball tie in MLG history. Since there wa... Valve Software is reporting that they have sold almost 4x more pre-orders of there controversial sequel than the first installment of the series had. This news comes as almost a shock as the highly publicized L4D2 boycott just wrapped up a few weeks ago. Perhaps the boycott just brought more eyeballs to L4D2 and its awesomeness or the fact that the game is a proven franchise now.

The first screens for the super secretive Halo: Reach were leaked earlier today. NeoGaf forum poster Daniuploaded 6 blurry photos of the upcoming game. The images show a couple of the new and modified weapons for the game as well as a brand new HUD showing off what seems to be health of your squad members. Could the next installment of the Halo series be a squad based shooter?
The screen shots look extremely real even while being blurry. While this could be an elaborate hoax they do appear... Continue reading ...
