While a large amount of people are getting ready for the launch tomorrow at midnight, i am sure some of the masses are less excited than they once were over the news of Infinity Ward stripping some of the most common PC elements from the game.

While the Xbox 360 crowd is still scratching their heads about Infinity Wards decision to remove Voice Chat, The PC players are getting a little shell shock at Infinity Wards newest antics.

Some of the newest announcements made by Infinity Ward were the following.
  • No Servers
  • No Console
  • No Mods

"We would like you to play the game the way we designed and balanced it"

While some may not care about this news it really takes a chunk out of the PC Experience. Without dedicated servers the game will pick who hosts (anyone say lag???) and if they leave there will be a delay while the new host is chosen. Without the console there will be no way to kick cheating or hacking players (while on the console versions this will not be such a problem since they have always lacked such a feature but on pc this poses quite a threat).

To add to the frustration of the PC Gamers there will be a limit of 9v9 on matches, Infinity Ward commented that this as well as all of there other "decisions" were on the bases of balance.

Only time will tell if the PC community will stand for this and it may impact sales slightly but i still think many will roll with the blows and go forward with Infinity Wards Dictatorship over the PC Version.
