Halo Reach is planning on shaking things up on May 3rd when there multi-player beta comes out exclusively to ODST owners. The trailer shows some really interesting new game-play for the Halo series.
Following the COD4 formula Halo will be joining the new perk craze. Some of the perks shown are jet packs, a sprinting ability, and some crazy front roll for the elites. Also shown was some new assassinations where the Spartans pull out knives and plunge it into the neck of there victim.

EB Games has posted some rather interesting screenshots of Halo Reach, they are much better than the original leaked Halo Reach screenshots.
There is still no confirmed release date from Microsoft as of date.
Credit for these screenshots goes to IGN as EB Games has since removed them from their site.
From the looks of these pictures it seems we may definitely have a squad based shooter on our hands which could be a nice shift from the stale Halo franchise, perhaps our earlier speculations for Ha... Continue reading ...

Halo Reach is going to be a different game. Its going to be the pinnacle of Bungie trying to take back the first person shooter genre from rivals like Infinity Ward and Valve. Not much is known about the game until the beta comes out this spring. Still that doesn't keep me from comparing screen shots to other Halo games and other first person shooter games that could be an influence on Bungie's new flag ship title.

The first screens for the super secretive Halo: Reach were leaked earlier today. NeoGaf forum poster Daniuploaded 6 blurry photos of the upcoming game. The images show a couple of the new and modified weapons for the game as well as a brand new HUD showing off what seems to be health of your squad members. Could the next installment of the Halo series be a squad based shooter?
