37th Annual Global Media and Communications Conference was held in New York City today and EA’s CEO John Riccitiello had some very interesting things to say about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.  He believes that Battlefield Bad Company 2 along with the newly announced modern Medal of Honor will be the foundation of what will bring the FPS crown back to their eager hands.

IW fixing Javelin Glitch.

Posted by Dell Williston on Thursday, December 3, 2009, In : Dell Williston

IW community manger Robert Bowling said from his Twitter yesterday...

#MW2 Javelin Glitch fix currently in test. Once it's cleared, we'll be urging it through Microsoft & Sony certification as fast as possible.

Hopefully that can turn this out quickly so that the game can come back to a more normal pace.  Perhaps lowering the 1887's range would help some too.

You do however get the following.

  • Second Prestige gets a new callsign.
  • Third Prestige gets news callsign and class slot

Interesting differences between visuals in Xbox 360 and PS3 MW2

Posted by Dell Williston on Monday, November 9, 2009, In : Dell Williston

Some comparison screen shots have come out showing stills of the game running on both systems.  The picture I found that shows the biggest difference is a snow scene that we all first saw at E3.  The PS3 version doesn't look near as sharp as the Xbox 360 version.  But the scene looks like it could be snowing.  Which would mean the Xbox version would be the less accurate version.  Guess will find out soon when the game ships.

You can defiantly see a difference between the systems though.  It is...
