Battlefield Bad Company 2 Demo Review

Posted by Justin Ewald on Thursday, February 4, 2010, In : Justin Ewald

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Demo has arrived for the 360 and I must say it's a welcome arrival.

After playing only a few hours of this wonderful demo I can attest that it’s going to be one hell of a game upon launch. I am extremely glad that they actually used their heads unlike other developers and gave us a demo to help provide a smooth launch unlike Modern Warfare 2 which has been plagued with glitches since its own launch.

I have compiled a list of pros and cons for the BC Demo.

Darksiders Review (360)

Posted by Dell Williston on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, In : Dell Williston

Famed comic book artist Joe Madureira and Vigil games just released there new game Darksiders to great success.  It follows the story of one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.  You play as War.  You were mistakenly summoned to earth to start the apocalypse and destroy all of human kind.  Sound familiar?  Your right it doesn't.  This is the first time that the Madureira name has been attached to a game.  He lead the project as its creative director.  Darksiders art style very closely imit...

Darksiders Review (PS3)

Posted by Colin Curnow on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, In : Colin Curnow

Darksiders.  The new post apocalyptic game from Vigil Games.  The story takes place in an unknown time, but seems to be in the near future.  The main character who you play as, War, is one of the four horseman of the Apocalypse.  As you soon find out after you begin playing, the seal that releases the four horseman was not broken and you are being blamed for the release of the demons from Hell, thus causing Heaven to send its angels to Earth to defeat them.

Torchlight Review

Posted by Justin Ewald on Monday, January 4, 2010, In : Justin Ewald

Torchlight
is a new Single Player RPG from Runic Games.

I have put in 27.9 hours into this game since I picked it up via Steam for $4.99 (Sales are constantly going on so get it if you can) and I easily would of paid more for such a wonderful game.

The basic story behind of this game is you are in the mining town of Torchlight and a evil has brought doom and despair to the mines and its livelihood gem Ember.

You play one of three classes
  • Vanquisher
  • Destroyer
  • Alchemist
The three represent the most b...

The Turtle Beach X1 is one of two in the wired line up made exclusively for the Xbox 360 by Turtle Beach there are also two wireless versions one which comes with Dolby 7.1 surround sound. I recently picked up a pair of these from the local Best Buy and was a little skeptical at first, i have heard good thing about them but was not sure if i would like them compared to my TV's standard speakers.

Brutal Legend Review (Over 5 days)

Posted by Dell Williston on Sunday, November 8, 2009, In : Dell Williston

Day 1

So I picked up Brutal Legend from Block Buster on Rocktober 13th.  Day 1.  I was pretty impressed that I was able to get it so easily.  I hope this doesn't point to slower sales or just lower sales for this delightful game.

So I played for about 3-4 hours last night.  For the most, I really enjoyed everything the game had to offer.  I love the charm of Eddie Riggs.  Jack Black does a great job bringing this character to life.  Every line is delivered with such a degree of honesty and a gr...

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves review

Posted by Colin Curnow on Sunday, November 8, 2009, In : Colin Curnow

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
is the newest game from company Naughty Dog.  Now if most of you remember, Naughty Dog are the guys who brought us Crash Bandicoot way back on the PSX.  Now jump forward 10 years, and they released Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.  Among Thieves picks up practically right where Drake's Fortune left off.  You play as Nathan Drake, a young, charismatic treasure hunter.  I like to think of him as more like an American James Bond.

To start off, the controls, are just like the...
